In my younger years, I felt I would be an artist of some sort. Truly, I felt I was going to be an actor or singer. In my older years, I found out I can't act or sing. ;) So, here we are. I picked up a camera at age 23 and although I put it down a few times, being a photographer has still been a constant desire I've had. The camera and I have always found our way back to each other. In addition to being a photographer, I also worked at a bank for 17 years but the universe forged a path for me to walk into becoming a photographer full time in 2023.
I have two girls, Lexi and Raegan, a son, Kash, and a husband, Kush. Two dogs, Finn and Izzy. A cat, Kiya. I love music, cooking, travel, a good book or anything in life that inspires me. When I'm not at a photo session or editing, on my porch with a book or in my bed with headphones on and scrolling through Pinterest is where you'll likely find me. I swear, I'm more fun than I sound...I think.
Whether you just met your person or are taking your vows, whether you're adding a little addition to your family, or updating family photos, I want to be along for every part of your journey. I want to document every magic moment and create genuine connections. So, whether it's your wedding day or just another day, I will work seamlessly with you and your people to create the magic we both desire. Your memories are worth investing in.
After over a decade of trail and error, I found my goal is not to capture a posed moment or follow the latest trends and editing style. My goal is to capture what's real and to showcase it in an artistic way.
I want to tell your story in whatever moment we meet at, wherever you are and document it naturally and authentically. My editing style is true to tone with a hint of warmth. I love to play with light and whatever else nature gifts us with. So, be it your wedding day or a family session, my goal is to document the moments as they unfold. I will provide direction to ensure you have frame-worthy photos but I also know when to step back and capture the authentic, unposed moments as well. You'll find those little in-between moments are just as much, if not more, important than the posed ones.
Think of me as a documenter, not just a photographer.
